It has been a custom among companies to write a year end eulogy to what happened during that year.
I will not.
No matter how much I tom-tom about how great or good we were, it does not take away from the fact that the last 2 years has been quite bruising for the hospitality industry and economies in general.
Depending on which part of the world you were in, there were mild to strong recoveries in tourism. However, the story is patchy at best.
And just when we thought it is all getting over, here comes what seems like the nth variant to an already mutated virus, the ominous sounding - Omicron.
I still believe that this will pass soon – although contagious, but will not cause the original havoc – mainly due to the high vaccination status of many countries and the antibodies created in the bodies of already recovered patients.
I know this is a very simplistic assessment of the situation. But that is what we are – we like to parse through all the noise and make things simple for our clients. Make it simple. I believe that we can pass through this through enhanced vaccinations, following testing and quarantine rules and the simplest of all, social distancing.
Coming to 2022 – our prediction is that hospitality finally starts kicking in a real recovery by Quarter 2, 2022, that we have all been waiting for. Although, the term “revenge travel” was coined for 2021, I say we see lots of that happening in 2022.
And we are ready.
We have tweaked and tweaked our application and have finally come up with a brand new version with a brand new user interface – which actually aims at making the life of hoteliers more and more simpler.

From within WhatsApp you would get all the information and do all the actions required to manage your hotel.
We are not trying to change customer habits. We are playing along with it.
Because that’s what we do. Making life simple.
